Hypertension Blacks - Can Be Cured

Hypertension Blacks is classified as one of a

Special Group - if certain Hypertension cases require a

different Treatment program than the "Norm", then that is

a Special Group - such as:

• African Americans
• The Elderly
• Pregnant Women
• Children

• Maybe one Black in three suffers from this Condition

  - and maybe 30 percent of the one-third

  will have it under control -

• As many as 30 percent of all deaths of men are related to

  Hypertension -

• Maybe 8,000 Black lives a year could be saved if

  doctors could find a way to control the pressure

  -

• Blacks received more medications, but significantly

  higher Pressure readings than whites or Asian

  patients -

• Patients who were sick with one or more conditions,

  like Heart disease, Kidney Disease and Diabetes - doctors

  found that blood pressure control was much worse in Blacks

  than in whites -

• Hypertension is twice as common in Blacks as in whites -
• It tends to develop earlier in life in Blacks and usually is

  more severe -

• They have the highest incidence of high

  blood pressure of any other black group around the world.

Some Causes

Some experts think Blacks:

• Are more sensitive to salt.
• Are subjected to social factors - unsympathetic

  discrimination.

• Are subjected to economic factors - enormous economic

  inequalities.

• Are subjected to a combination of different factors

  both genetic and environmental.

• Are subjected to the most severe psychological

  degradation.

• Are subjected to Psychological Genocide.
• Are subjected to annihilation of human dignity -
• Are subjected to Envy, Fear, Greed, Hate, Ignorance,

  Jealousy.

• Are genetically subjected to the indelible horror of

  Slavery.
